Mission Statement

American Business Women's AssociationThe mission of the Atlanta Area Council of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) is to:

  • Promote communication between chapters;
  • Disseminate information;
  • Exchange ideas;
  • Participate in workshops and seminars and other joint activities; and
  • Provide opportunities for members to grow personally and professionally through education, networking support, and community recognition.

The local dues to become a member of the Atlanta Area Council of ABWA are only $15/year. Click here to download the Membership Application. However, you must first become a member of ABWA National. For more information, please visit www.abwa.org.

Janet Allison, ABWA 2007-2008 District I Vice PresidentOur very own Past Atlanta Area Council Chairman and Past President of the Atlanta Downtown Express Network (ADEN), Janet Allison, has won her bid for ABWA National Office as the 2007-2008 District I Vice President!

Elections were held at the 2007 ABWA National Women's Leadership Conference in Greensboro, NC, September 20-22, 2007, and Janet returned to Atlanta the victor!
